My Saturday night makeup routine

It was my friends birthday last Saturday so we all went out to celebrate in Notting Hill which was so much fun! This month has been full of birthdays so I’ve been going out a lot recently and therfore putting more make-up on than usual.

I’ve recently seen changes in my skin, my face looks more tired and although I’m very lucky overall, I am noticing it isn’t as glowy as it used to be. I’ve gotten into this Neitrogena Hydro Boost water gel from boots which is meant to be amazing for you face. I’ve been using it this past week before bed and in the morning – watch this space!

When I go out in the evening I always wear my Este Lauder double wear foundation. It’s my ultimate! Such flawless coverage. I don’t wear this Mon – Fri as I try to stick to BB creams or a lighter foundation during the week. I use the Benefit Boi’ing concealer for any areas that need extra coverage and that’s my base done!

With my eyebrows I’m a huge fan of Wunderbrow. I use the liquid which I top up when needed and for a night out I use the Wunderbrow pen which adds a thicker, fuller look!

The next step is the bronzer and contour. I use the Nars bronzer in Casino with Real Techniques brushes. I brush the bronzer all over my face and then an extra amount under my cheek bones and down the sides of my nose using the smaller brush.

Next I do my eyes. I love this affordable eye shadow palette from Collection. The shades are golden, brown, cream shades which I feel really suit me. I also love the Charlotte Tilbury Gold Bar as an eye shadow and high lighter which I used along my brow bone, centre or my nose, cheek bones and cupids bow.

I used the cream and golden eyeshadows for the inner part of my eye and blended the darker shades outwards using the darkest brown shade for the crease of my eye. I blended this a lot so it was very subtle and not too much of a smoky eye. The Charlotte Tilbury black eye liner is so great! I use it to outline my lashes top and bottom and cover my lashes with Bourjois Ultra Curl which is amazing, it really lengthens my lashes!

I don’t always wear glue on lashes but these ones I love because they look natural and just give you a fuller look. I also used the Bourjois Rouge Velvet matte lipgloss for a light pink lip and then glossed over it with the Lipz Voltage which gives your lips a little plumping and shine.

And there you have it! Really simple and easy to do, using various high street brands for a luxury look.
